Synopsis : A person who has a dislike of animatronics and mascots alike gets accepted as a security guard at the one place that feeds her phobia. What's the worst that could happen, right?

  Meet Y/N! Your average, neurodivergent security guard riddled with anxiety and major health problems. As a college student and part time worker, it's essential to her that she showcase the utmost hardworking mask she can muster and although not always vigilant about her own health, she does strive to make up for it by having patience, loyalty and several cans of energy drinks.

  Not that big on touch but also quite open to it after getting over the initial shock, she gets along fairly easily with people while maintaining some distance and loves to be organised. Sometimes. Whatever was on the menu for her neurodivergent tendencies, there might have to be an early warning that she was prone to talking / acting first and thinking later.

  As this AU suggests, she's scared to death at the thought / idea of mascots and animatronics alike but soon enough, she'll have to face her fears and get over them too.

  But ... the instructions didn't include falling in love with them.

  P/S : My friend, @crabsnpersimmons came up with the first initial colour design and the glitter shoes (that's also featured in the fic :P)! It all started when we first did an art collab together and swapped our Y/N's with our first AU's Moons <33

  • A security guard + part-time general staff (WOW, the pay is so good and ya look down at the extra tasks ya gotta do and visibly deflate, "oh so that's why")
  • Is an art college student + stays in an apartment alone + paying all bills by herself
  • Is super short... A tiny. A smol.
  • Has phobia of mascots + animatronics in this case but will slowly warm up to them later hehe
  • Neurodivergent (the cause of why she gets fired a lot from places or she quits the jobs herself since the previous workplaces didn't provide a well suited environment for her and well, management doesn't really care for her, they just need human staff to keep up appearances ... (and if she gets disposed then I mean ahem if anything goes wrong ahem people wouldn't really care cuz Fazbear usually picks desperate and barely known people ahem). [Pls note that in my writing later, I want y'all to know that this is my interpretation so if it feels inaccurate or anything, I'm just basing it on what I experience 🙏🏻 also, I'm still learning and not really public on it so pls refrain from nitpicking this aspect, thanks.]
  • A really hard working person but selectively in what she focuses her energy on… Perfectionism be thy downfall.
  • Fidgets with her tie when nervous or caught lying …
  • Y/N gets lost often but like she always end up in the right spot anyways … after some time
  • Has Freddy (Father figure) , Ms Betty (Mother figure) and Mrs Delilah (Grandmother figure) as family figures.

• Sundrop

  

  Meet Sun! The kind, patient and gentle daytime attendant during work hours but snarky, cunning and infuriating after hours.

  He's got a way with words in that they can tick you off in less than a minute but can ya blame him? He has more work hours compared to Moon and Eclipse (he stress relieves by teasing the heckles out of Y/N) but that doesn't mean he's justified, just needs a little work! He'll come around eventually...

  Ever composed and ready with his witty comebacks, he's also got his soft moments where the extent of his gentle care from work hours would seep into his demeanor in quiet moments between him and Y/N. It's subtle but blink and he's back to keeping his distance. He has more self restraint in the beginning but gradually... Hm. We'll see. Y/N seems to bring out more in him.

  FFAU Sun Playlist

  • AKA : Mr Sunny & Flower
  • Somewhat infected by the virus too… but it shows in terms of when he gets too stressed out (capable of reeling it back in though)
  • Exceptional at handling kids, snaps at adults or at least the human staff (not customers... sometimes.)
  • skilled in crafting foods carving wise (he's also skilled with paper or just making them into pretty decorations like those bento thingies and maybe making carved flowers out of sliced veggies or fruits? And like yeah I think he’d be really good with presentation, like making food look good. Taste would depend on whether or not they have the equipment for taste maybe
  • Emotionally, Sunny is a bit forceful or at least he tries to restrain himself as much as possible and is sort of impulsive at times which may or may not hurt Y/N in the process so I guess in turn, he'll have to learn to be a bit more gentle...
  • Snarky and not honest with his feelings, speaks in circles so that it's hard to decipher him fully.

• Moondrop

  

  Meet Moon! The nighttime attendant who tends to the young for naptime and bedtime stories yet lurks in the shadows, mischievous grin forever present like the Cheshire Cat, ready to strike at any moment or play a little trick or two. Whether they're harmful or not - well - that's another matter to discuss later...

  This gremlin is also not much of a talker but an excellent listener due to how he uses gentle touches and few words to soothe Y/N. Though lacking in understanding personal space, he does try to uphold that part as best as he can. Likes heights and makes sure to drag Y/N into his silly shenanigans any chance he gets.

  He's also best friends with Music Man, making use of practicing his acrobatic skills on the wire while DJMM helps to provide tempo and background noise. Furthermore, they frequently talk about the comings and goings of the Pizzaplex (basically gossiping haha).

  FFAU Moon Playlist

  • AKA : Mr Sandman & Boogeyman
  • Somewhat infected with the virus but only with unauthorised people who break into the pizzaplex (m#rders "bad" people as his coding recognises them as such and since he only kills people who are barely known, the company doesn't suffer much backlash - they have a really good cleanup team, lawyers and witnesses.) Will later be affected badly by the virus though...oops.
  • Moon is good at dancing and pretty handwriting.
  • Light sensitivity is high but if he's in dim lighting, he's okay.
  • Emotionally, Moony is gentle and only forceful if Y/N pushes a line and then pushes her away when he's overwhelmed (?) I mean he's not as talkative as well so he might just zip out if he needs space...
  • More gentle in communicating, cautious, doesn't touch unless given permission to do so and ONLY if it helps the conversation take a better turn.

• Eclipse

  

  Meet Eclipse! The embodiment of both Sun and Moon, balancer of both personalities and the noon attendant. He is both good and bad, light and dark, gentle yet harsh, representing the dualities of these jesters. Although more composed, he's also more confident in his actions, almost teetering on borderline brazenness that it makes Y/N wonder why he does things so...intensely.

  Not only that, you see more sides of these two pouring out of him in particular. From the "blink and you'll miss it" mischievousness and the straight up in your face flirtatiousness, he throws Y/N for a whirlwind of emotions and when asked, he feigns innocence, like it was just a mere facade. Actions speak louder than words definitely apply to this jester so don't be deceived...

  Other than that, he's a tad more emotional, cunning and touchier so beware but then again, danger has been so enticing as of late, Y/N contemplates these daycare attendants being one of the sources.

  Why not take a chance? After all, curiousity killed the cat but... Satisfaction brought it back.

  FFAU Eclipse Playlist

  • AKA : Clippy & Wonderboy
  • He only appears when both Sun and Moon are needed but he's also a third person who speaks on behalf of both if they've had enough of someone / something / when both Sun and Moon want to be present.
  • Eclipse is nearly as calm as Freddy but if you tick him off enough, you're in BIG trouble so respectfully, pls don't. He's authorised for security after all.
  • Emotionally, it's a mix of both Sun and Moon's, tryna decide what to do but ultimately more touchier?? like he doesn't think much about it but sometimes he just needs to hold Y/N in some way while arguing so... He doesn't resort to shouting but his words do cut and he needs to be left alone promptly before further damage happens. Will ban Y/N from the daycare until she's calmer and nicer and then pamper Y/N to bits cuz of guilt 🤣
  • Gentle yet forceful if needed in conversation, often conflicted when things get heated (Sun & Moon subtly going haywire over who and how to communicate) but overall, melts the mind all the same when they sync methods together.

Freddy :

• He's still the lead singer in this AU!
• Friendly and cuddly-certified! He's known to give the best hugs and isn't stingy with giving them either. Just ask and you'll receive!
• Exhibits more patience than all of the animatronics (including the daycare attendants). It's really difficult to make him ticked off. The most he'd show is an upset show of folding his arms and crossing his eyebrows in disappointment - you know, like a parental "scolding face" (Somehow, when you're given that face, you feel immense guilt immediately and want to apologise right away) but without the harsh words. He still talks politely even when upset!
• He's a good listener and is able to make everyone feel included effortlessly. That's why he's a fan favourite! He'll make you feel just as special as everyone else 🫶🏻
• Has a pen with a top hat for signing!
